The Great Pacific Garbage Patch

The Great Pacific Garbage Patch stretches between California and Japan. It is estimated to be twice the size of Texas. It is made up mostly of plastic, plastic that could have been recycled or better yet, never manufactured in the first place. In some places the floating garbage island is 90 feet deep. Man is the scourge of the Earth, disrupting ecosystems to perpetuate his insatiable appetite for convenience.

  3. I wish I could have the direct address of the congress people including the president and others government around the world so maybe they get incvolved to help clean up the occean mess. couse the main affected to this are the animals in the occean, and humans, because they are looking for their own destruction, by not taking responsibility to keep the occean clean from garbage and oil spill. What will it be of human in a few years from now if we don't learn and teach our children to maintain the earth clean and safe?.

  4. You're right. But really now, can we please stop saying "man" when we really mean to say "people"? Unless, of course, you mean to attribute this garbage patch to humans with penises? If you want men to take responsibility for that, then sure, go ahead, but I'd rather we just be honest.
